Stage 1 raises the rev limit, increases boost pressures, and more, leading to dramatically quicker 0-60 times and enhanced acceleration in any scenario. This sophisticated engine calibration seamlessly integrates into a completely stock car or will automatically adjust to maximize the benefits of optional intake, heat exchanger, and intercooler upgrades.

For the serious horsepower junky, this tune shines on E85 and 104 race fuel, reaching an impressive 719HP and 768ft-lbs of torque! ADDITIONAL TUNE FEATURES



ETHANOL FUEL

 
Ethanol fuels are included and unlock the most performance potential from our ECU tunes. Ethanol contains tons of oxygen, burns cooler, and has a high resistance to knock. This provides more horsepower and torque than running conventional gasoline and is much less expensive than race gas. Although full E85 is recommended for the highest power output, safeguards are included within the E85 ECU calibrations to adjust for ethanol as low as E60.

BRAKE BOOST

Commonly used in roll racing, Brake Boosting allows you to build extra boost by applying brake pressure while accelerating. Release the brake pressure for a "rolling launch" or extra surge of power.

Brake Boost is included on all tune stages

 

CYLINDER DEACTIVATION

The factory ECU calibration includes many compromises removed by your IE Tune. One of the most problematic is the stock cylinder deactivation which attempts to increase fuel economy by only running 4 cylinders when cruising. This causes rough shift, loss of power, and is believed to cause early failures of motor mounts. Cylinder deactivation is completely turned off by default.

Cylinder deactivation can be reactivated on request.



 

LET YOUR V8 ROAR!

Your Audi S6 or S7 has a powerful twin-turbo V8, it's time to sounds like one too! To help accomplish this, your iE Tune includes two optional features on all stages that will make your eight cylinder turbo sound like the king of the streets. Add the motorsport-inspired Exhaust Crackle to your exhaust note or the iconic lopey idle with Ghost Cam. These addicting features exist purely to add more fun and excitement to your drive and can be toggled on or off at will through your POWERlink.

 

HARDWARE GUIDE

While Stage 1 doesn't require any hardware upgrades, adding our iE intake system results in up to an additional 40HP over stock! Intercooler upgrades will result in increased airflow, lower intake air temperatures, and quicker heatsoak recovery, leading to a more efficient and faster vehicle overall.

TUNE REGISTRATION
Once a tune purchase is applied to your vehicle's ECU, the tune is permanently registered to the vehicle and non-transferable to other vehicles. Tunes can be transferred to a second party in the event of vehicle transfer of ownership only.

When tunning your engine, the large 4.0T V8 delivers substantial low-mid range torque gains, exceeding factory DSG limits, leading to clutch slip and power loss. The iE DSG tune increases line pressure and torque limits well beyond stock to handle the power increase safely. iE RS7 Turbo Tunes deliver significant power gains across the entire powerband and further into the higher RPM range. These performance enhancements require a complete matching transmission calibration. iE RS& Turbo TCU Tune is the matching transmission calibration for hybrid turbos with optimized shift points.

This tune is provided as a free upgrade from Stage 1 DSG tune when upgrading to RS7 Turbo tunes.
